About Us
In the fall of 2008, Adam and David met on a jobsite in Newton, MA. At the time, each was running their own construction company. After collaborating several projects — including a basement renovation in Brookline and a house renovation in Newton — they began exploring the idea of joining forces. But what should this new venture be called?
Adam’s wife came up with the idea of using their middle names (which also happen to be the names of their sons, respectively). Thus, in the winter of 2010, Benjamin William Construction Group was born.
Since that day, we’ve built our business on client referrals and word-of-mouth. We have grown over the years but we still treat every client and job like it is our first.
Today, we’re a full-service construction company located in Cambridge, MA; serving the metro Boston area. Our services include residential exterior and interior construction, residential property development, and construction project management.

Purchasing
Benjamin William has real estate agents door-knocking in designated areas; looking for off-market deals. In one recent development project, we built 6 condominium units on the site of former gas station and auto repair shop. In other cases, we’ve purchased large, single-family homes to be repurposed as condominiums. We’ve also converted multi-family dwellings to stately single-family homes.
Demolition
If existing structures need to be demolished, we’ll help you every step of the way — from acquiring a demolition permit to foundation removal and cleanup.
Sitework
Once demolition is completed, we’ll will do everything required to prepare the site for construction. Our experienced crew will dig a new foundation, implement water storage and drainage systems, and connect water and sewer utilities. We also perform grading for hardscaping and landscaping.
Construction
Benjamin William Construction Group oversees the entire construction process: Foundation, stick framing, windows, siding, roofing, rough mechanicals, insulation, blueboard, plaster, and finishes. We work with all trades to ensure your project is completed on-time and within budget.
